How to Use It
- Download the CSV and open it in Excel, Google Sheets, Numbers, or another spreadsheet tool.
- Enter your own spool prices and filament weights manually.
- Use the filament cost calculator to calculate cost per gram when adding a new spool.
- Use the spool remaining calculator when updating a partial spool after a print.
This is a free manual template. There is no paid download, account system, database, or quote storage in the MVP.
Formula Guide
These are spreadsheet formulas to apply after downloading the CSV. The sample CSV keeps plain values so it opens cleanly in common spreadsheet tools.
- Cost per gram = spool price / net filament weight.
- Remaining material value = remaining weight × cost per gram.
- Print material cost = print weight × cost per gram.
- Remaining after print = remaining weight - slicer required grams with safety buffer.
